We6 OY
Software consultancy & product studio · Finland

We build software that goes into production and stays there.

We6 Oy is a small senior team that designs, ships and operates real systems — web and mobile products, the cloud platforms underneath them, and the agentic workflows that are starting to run the work around them. The same engineering goes into our own products.

What we do

Four things, done by the people who will maintain them.

No hand-off to a junior bench after the pitch. The engineers who scope the work are the ones who write it, deploy it, and get paged when it breaks.

01

Product engineering

From a blank repository to a released product: interface design, the API behind it, and the mobile app beside it. Shipped in increments you can put in front of users, not in a six-month reveal.

  • React & Next.js web apps
  • React Native for iOS and Android
  • Node.js APIs, Postgres schemas
02

Cloud & platform

AWS accounts that are set up deliberately — infrastructure in code, environments that match, deploys that are boring. We also take over estates that grew by hand and put them back under version control.

  • Infrastructure as code, CI/CD
  • Cost, observability, on-call
  • Migrations and cleanups
03

Agentic workflows & AI

LLMs wired into the parts of a business where they actually pay for themselves: intake, triage, quoting, document handling. Built with evaluations, guardrails and a human in the loop where one belongs.

  • Agents with real tool access
  • Retrieval over your own data
  • Evals before anything ships
04

Technical partnership

For teams without a CTO, or with one who is out of hours in the day: architecture reviews, roadmap and estimate sanity checks, hiring support, and a senior pair of hands inside your existing team.

  • Fractional technical leadership
  • Code and architecture review
  • Team augmentation
How we work

Small team, short loops, nothing hidden.

Start with the smallest real thing

The first milestone is something that runs — a working slice against real data, not a slide deck. It is much cheaper to change an opinion in week two than in month five.

Build it so someone else can own it

Plain code, obvious structure, tests where they earn their keep, and documentation written as we go. Everything lives in your accounts and your repositories from day one.

Stay on after launch

Software is not finished when it is released. We stay available for the operating phase — monitoring, fixes, the next increment — or hand over properly to your team.

Technology

A deliberately boring stack, chosen so it stays cheap to run.

We pick tools with long support horizons and large hiring pools, and we are happy to work in whatever you already have.

Our own products

We are our own most demanding client.

Consulting pays for the products. The products keep the consulting honest.

Alongside client work we design, build and operate software of our own. It is the part of the business where we carry every decision ourselves: the pricing, the support inbox, the 2 a.m. alert, the cost of a bad schema three years later.

That changes the advice we give. When we argue for a smaller scope, a duller technology or a simpler data model, it is because we have paid for the alternative with our own money.

  • 01
Built in the open stack Our products run on the same Node, Postgres and AWS foundations we put under client systems — no separate internal magic.
  • 02
Operated, not just shipped We run them in production: monitoring, upgrades, incident response, and the unglamorous maintenance that follows a launch.
  • 03
Prototypes for clients too The same product muscle is available as a paid discovery sprint — a working prototype of your idea, not a specification document.

A short description of the problem is enough to start. We will tell you honestly whether it is something we should take on — and if it is not, what we would do instead.
